Celebrity Look A Like

Color

Take this test!
You're brown, a credible, stable color that's reminiscent of fine wood, rich leather, and wistful melancholy. Most likely, you're a logical, practical person ruled more by your head than your heart. With your inquisitive mind and insatiable curiosity, you're probably a great problem solver. And you always gather all of the facts before coming to a timely, informed decision. Easily intrigued, you're constantly finding new ways to challenge your mind, whether it's by reading the newspaper, playing a trivia game, or composing a piece of music. Brown is an impartial, neutral color, which means you tend to see the difference between fact and opinion easily and are open to many points of view. Trustworthy and steady, you really are a brown at heart.

Snowed In

I cannot believe the snow. I don't even remember the last time we got so much snow. We were trying to get Paul to work this morning but got stuck about 10 times, we finally made it to my parents house and were able to borrow their truck. Here are some pictures we took this morning.

Las Vegas here we come!

Paul just found out today that he has been accepted to medical school at Touro in Las Vegas. We are so excited, it is the biggest relief to have him in a school. Words cannot describe how happy we are.

Hubby Tag

I just noticed one of my friends tagged me a while ago. What is his name? Paul How long have you been married? 4 1/2 years How long did you date? About a year How old is he? 27 Who eats more? Probably me I am still nursing so I am always hungry and Paul is always watching his portion sizes Who said "I love you" first? I really don't remember it was like 5 1/2 years ago but if I had to guess I would say Paul because sometimes I can be a little bit timid. Who sings better? Paul for sure, I have an aweful voice. Whose temper is worse? Mine for sure, it is not always bad but when I snap it gets really ugly. Several of our friends saw my wrath over the weekend, I need to publicly apologize to Spencer, I am sorry for yelling at you. Who does the laundry? I do, I like doing laundry and don't mind folding I just hate hanging clothes up and putting them away. Who does the dishes? I do, see Paul and I made a deal before we got married I said I would clean if he cooks (I hate cooking) It would work great except Paul works evening so I cook my own dinner and do the cleaning. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Paul does Who pays the bills? I do but it is not bad because most bills are on bill pay. Who mows the lawn? No one, we don't have a lawn but if we did I think it would probably be me because I know Paul hates to mow the lawn Who cooks dinner? Paul if he is home. Who is more stubborn? That's a hard one, we both are. He is probably just a bit more stubborn then me he always has to get the last word in and he has to be right. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Neither I don't think we ever admit that we are wrong. Whose parents do you see the most? Probably mine, my mom babysits Leila while I work so I see her all the time. Pauls mom works odd hours and she is never home so it is hard to catch her when she is at home. Who proposed? Paul, he played a trick on my, had me crying and thinking he would never propose but he finally did. Who has more friends? Well we are probably about equal because his friends have become my friends and my friends have become his friends. Who has more siblings? Well it depends on if you count half and step siblings. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. Paul has 1 sister and 1 brother and 1 step brother and 1 half brother. Who wears the pants in the family? We are pretty equal

Mini Me

Lately Leila has been following me around and mimicking what I am doing. So on Saturday I was doing laundry I was carrying clothes back and forth from our room to the washer and dryer I soon noticed that Leila was walking behind me carrying some clothes. I thought it was so cute that she was trying to be a big girl and do what I was doing.

A Great 2007!

2007 was a great year for our family. We have been so blessed. We started out the year with me being very pregnant and very uncomfortable. Becoming a mom has been very challenging but so great I would not trade it for anything in the world. Leila has been a great baby, really busy and into everything but very happy. In April Leila and I went to San Diego while Paul interviewed in Las Vegas for medical school, he was put on the wait list so we are hoping this year he will get in some where. We took a family trip to Lake Powell for a week, very hot but so much fun. Paul was very busy working in a lab, working for TKJ, studying for the MCAT, being a teaching aid for several classes and applying for medical school. I kept busy playing with Leila and working for TKJ. Leila kept busy getting into every cupboard, drawer, closet, shelf, book case and anything else she was not suppose to be playing with. Leila was also busy learning to walk, she finally accomplished it right before Thanksgiving. Now she really keeps me busy. We finished up the year by going to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving to be with my family and support my brother during his soccer tournament. We had a great year and feel so blessed to be healthy and to have great friends and family. My goals for the year are to read my scriptures everyday, cook dinner at least once a week (Paul works evenings so he is not home for dinner), get in better shape, and get my house and garage organized. I hope everyone has a great 2008!
