I sure love my Leila bear especially when she does things like this... Leila was in the shower with me, I had sat down to shave my legs when Leila starts to laugh, I ask her what is so funny, she says to me, "I just peed on mommy" and then continues to laugh some more. All I can say is gross!

Grover

This past weekend Leila and I headed to Grover Utah. Paul's cousin's family has some cabins there so usually we go there once or twice a year. We love it there, it is so pretty and has so many fun things for us to do. The drive is quite a bit longer from vegas then from Salt Lake but Leila and I didn't want to miss out on all the fun. We were just sad Paul couldn't come with us. We got really dirty, stayed up way too late and ate way too much but had a fabulous weekend.

Throwing rocks and getting dirty On Saturday we went on a hike to Calf Creek. We hiked to the upper falls and pools. The crappy thing about this hike is that you hike down first and then have to hike out at the end. And the hike was pretty steep. I was a little nervous taking Leila on it because I can't carry her and Paul wasn't there to help. Well Leila really surprised me, she hiked most of the hike partly because she was too shy to let any of the uncles or cousins carry her. I did have to carry her for a short time and Paul's cousin Mary carried her for a little bit too.

On our last day in Utah we went to Wheeler Farm with Paul's mom.

Gateway

I know more pictures but I am almost all caught up on July and our trip to Utah, only a few more posts. We got together with Colin, Kara, Mia, June, Seth, Jenn and Cohen. We met at Gateway, went to lunch at Jason's Deli, did some shopping and to0k the kids to the fountain to play in. Leila and Mia had tons of fun playing together! We then went swimming over at Colin and Kara's house but I didn't take and pictures of it.

24th of July

We had a great 24th of July this year. It was a little different then past years, we usually have a big family reunion with Paul's family (big as in a reunion with Paul's grandma's siblings and all their children) and then go boating with his cousins and my family. Well they decided not to have the family reunion this year but some of Paul's cousins still wanted to get together. We met at Murray park for a picnic. Leila is usually way to distracted to eat but for some reason she sat on the blanket and ate and ate while all the other kids ran around her. She enjoyed a yummy bar which is a must have for us on the 24th of July. We then headed over to Murray pool to do some swimming, I liked this pool because they let the parents take kids down the big slide. Leila loved it and loved playing with her cousins. That night we went with Paul's cousins to the Real Salt Lake soccer game. It was a really fun game, we ended up getting our food for free and Leila was entertained by her cousin Brighton the whole time. We then enjoyed fireworks after the game.
