We headed to Utah for Spring Break and Easter this year. My parents were nice enough to drive down to Vegas and then drive back with me. It made traveling so much easier. Leila and Greydon loved playing outside on the swing set, especially if there was someone to push them on the swings. We spent most of our time in Utah playing with cousins and just hanging out with family.
Leila was the first and last to participate with the egg dying. She loved it, and was quite upset when we ran out of eggs even though we colored 4 or 5 dozen eggs.
On Friday we dyed eggs again at my mom's house. Leila got a whole carton all to herself and had a blast being creative.
Greydon just watched this time, and played peek-a-boo and ate some food.
On Saturday we got together with Paul's mom and family for an Easter egg hunt. Leila loved the hunt and was so sweet to make sure she helped Greydon find eggs too.
He found a couple eggs but then he became more interested in the power wheels.
The grass was super long so even the eggs just out on the grass were hard to find, the hunt lasted for quite some time.
Checking out all their finds! Greydon thoroughly enjoyed his peeps!
Sunday morning the Easter bunny hid some eggs and Easter baskets for the kids. Greydon was much more into this egg hunt.

That morning as we were trying to get ready for church, Leila had a massive meltdown that lasted over an hour long. As I was trying to deal with her I found Greydon had climbed up on the dining room table and was helping himself to jelly beans, M&M's and peeps. I was frantically trying to get ready so I just left him to enjoy himself (I know great parenting?). I'm still surprised we made it to church.
That night we had an Easter egg hunt at my parents house. By the end we had way too much candy!
