Home at Last

Well after a few weeks in the dugeon of my mom's basement we finally made it to our new home in lovely Las Vegas. I would say it is a culture shock but it has mostly been the same as home. I will say though that the day after I got here I was at costco and there was this old dude in a Jazzy (for those of you who don't know these are the stylish mode of transportation for those that are not willing to step into a wheelchair) anywho, he was looking for his wife and stopped well another old dude that was not fortunate enough to have a jazzy pulled up. Well the first dude slammed his jazzy into reverse and tagged the other guys cart and then the fireworks began. I mean f bombs and a lot of angry old man words the dude in the jazzy got up and I thought yeah it is go time I am going to get to see some old man punching and maybe some wrestling. Unfortunately cooler heads prevailed and with a few grunts the dude in the Jazzy took off. I think the anger mainly stemmed from the fact that dude number 2 hasn't had time to save up enough money to get his jazzy yet. Other than that Vegas has involved mainly cleaning shopping and sitting at the DMV yeah what happens in vegas stays in vegas. Well that is all for now if you couldn't tell this was paul not alisha hope you are all not disappointed.

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July, we got up early and went to Utah Lake with my family, my parents, Erin and Marcus were there. We then came back to Connie's and decided to make homemade ice cream, it was delicious I love it plus Connie made her awesome chewy chocolate sauce it is the best. Paul and I decided that it is going to be our new tradition, homemade ice cream on the 4th of July. We then met up with Colin, Kara and Mia and went to the Sandy parade and carnival. Leila loved waving at the floats and blowing kisses and her favorite part was gathering candy that was being thrown at her. She ate so much candy that I am surprised she even went to bed that night. Anyways we ate bbq at the carnival and then watched fireworks that night. Leila was so hyped up on sugar that the whole time we were waiting for the firewords she was climbing up and down Mia's stroller or running around the blanket, she was out of control.

Yeah Friends!

Last Saturday my girlfriends from high school all got together. We met at April's parents house and went swimming and then had a BBQ. It was so much fun to see everyone, I love having good friends.
