September was the start of some really crappy rotations for Paul. He was on Vascular surgery during September and October which meant he was on call Monday through Friday, he did get the weekends off which was nice but most of the time he was catching up on sleep. Asher was also adjusting to not taking a nap, once his binky was gone he refused to lay down and sleep. Some days he caught a few winks while we were running errands or if I put on a movie.
We went to the zoo with the Spjuts. We had free passes that the kids had earned from the summer reading program. We wanted to use them before the weather got too cold.
We roasted marshmallows with the neighbors
And went to our ward campout, although we didn't stay overnight because it was going to be really cold and we had activities first thing saturday morning. But it was fun eating dinner and hanging around the campfire with several of our ward friends.
I volunteered in Greydon's class in September. It was so fun to see him in his classroom and have him show me the things he enjoys doing and playing at school
Greydon played indoor soccer during the fall and absolutely loved it.
The primary presidency hosted a teacher appreciation night. We wanted to make sure our teachers felt loved and appreciated for their willingness to serve in the primary. We also did a little teacher training that night. It was a lot of fun.
