Leila's 1st Birthday Party

We celebrated Leila's 1st birthday with a big party with family and friends. We had pizza, cake and ice cream. I spent most of the morning making Leila's caterpillar cake, I made a big one for everyone to enjoy and one just for Leila to eat. Leila really enjoyed opening her presents, I was surprised at how into it she was, she needed help opening the presents but as soon as it was open she was grabbing the next one to have me help her open. She was pretty timid with her cake she poked at it a bunch and ate a little bit of frosting, it took her awhile before she finally dug into it. She had a fun bath in the sink after enjoying her cake. Happy 1st birthday Leila!

I was playing lots of soccer and still taking piano lessons. Snacks I enjoy: I like anything that is sweet. I snack on lots of fruit snacks right now because Leila really likes them and we end up sharing a pack. 5 things on my to-do-list today: Well because it is Sunday today I don't have much of a to-do-list but here is what I have planned for tomorrow. 1. Take Leila for her 1-year checkup 2. Start cleaning out my office 3. Clean out our bedroom 4. Play lots of games and sing lots of songs with Leila 5. Work out Things I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire: Buy a big house so I have lots of room, hire a maid and cook so I can spend all my time with my kids and husband, go on lots of vacations and take my friends with me on the vacations, buy a bigger car and not stress about money 3 of my bad habits:1. I bite my finger nails 2. I forget to put the milk away 3. I never fill up for gas until I am running on fumes 5 places I have lived:1. Sandy, Ut 2. West Jordan, Ut3. Taylorsville, Ut4. Jobs I have had: File clerk at Interwest Medical, Hostess at the Mayan, direct care staff, program director, behavior specialist assistant and health care specialist at TKJ. Things people don't know about me:1. I worry lots and lots so much that I get anxious and when I was younger I had to see a doctor and take medicine to help me sleep. I love to play the piano. I watch Full House when I am home during the days. I check my email several times a day.

This year has gone by so fast. I cannot believe that Leila is a year today. Sometimes I wish I could keep her a baby but I love seeing her as she learns new things and grows. Happy Birthday baby girl!
