Trunk or Treat

Leila and I went to our ward trunk or treat on Wednesday. Paul came over for the dinner but had to get back to school to study. Leila was so excited all day to put her costume on, I am glad she wanted to wear it. She had it on for like two hours before the trunk or treat started.
My cute little pirate!

She was so confused with this game, she did not understand why everyone was eating donuts off of a string. She was happy when I pulled the donut off and just gave it to her to eat, although you can't tell from this picture she still just looks confused
When we got home she immediately dumped out her candy and examined all of it, she then attempted to eat it all

Football game

On Saturday Paul and I were able to go out for a fun date night. It has been forever since we have been to a college football game, so we decided to get tickets to the UNLV vs. Utah game with our friends Ryan and Jamie. I was a little worried that we were going to be surrounded by mean UNLV fans but we weren't and I was surprised at how many Utah fans were there. It was a fun game except for being super uncomfortable, being 8 months pregnant and sitting on a hard bench isn't the most enjoyable thing.

(Jamie and I are both pregnant and due about 3 weeks apart)
I only posted this picture so family and friends that live away can see how giant I am. On a side note the pregnancy is going pretty good, I am super uncomfortable and not sleeping much at night but I guess that just comes with pregnancy. The baby is really active and really strong, his kicks keep me up in the night and sometimes wake me up. We still have no idea what we are going to name him, we finally started making a list but nothing seems to stand out. I only have 4 more weeks but I am crossing my fingers that it will be less then that.

Recent Happenings

We went out to the Primm outlets this last week with some friends and found some cute Halloween pancake shapes at William Sonoma. Leila was so excited to make them the next morning. Don't mind that she chose to have ketchup with them instead of syrup.
We went out to dinner with Paul's mom while she was in town and to celebrate Paul's birthday. We went to a Thai restraunt so there wasn't much for Leila to eat but she did love the rice, she ended up with it all over her face and hands.
Celebrating Paul's birthday with some Nothing Bundt cakes. These cakes are so delicious! His birthday is not until next week but we wanted to celebrate while his mom was in town and before block week starts
Painting pictures, we do this pretty much every day

Staheli Family Farm

Paul took Saturday afternoon off from studying so we decided to head up to St. George to go to Staheli Family Farm with our friends Reece and Rylee and their kids. There were tons of fun things for the kids to do, petting the farm animals, train rides, tire swings, a playhouse, slides, hayrides and a pumpkin patch. After the farm we headed over to Wingers for a yummy dinner. Leila and Ryder were so funny together at dinner, I wish I would have got a picture of them kissing and hugging, it was the cutest thing ever.

Mom visit

A couple of weeks ago my mom came to visit and we got a lot of things done around my house, she fixed our toilets and sprinklers and we got my carpet cleaned and painted Leila's room. It was nice to get so much accomplished. One of the days we went swimming and Leila showed my mom all of her new tricks. Thanks for all of your help mom!

Leila was so sad when my mom left, she laid on the ground and sulked for awhile, she kept telling my mom she wanted to go with her.
