Friends!

A couple of weeks ago I watched our friends little girl, Paisley. Paisley is Leila's bestest little friend. Leila talks about her all day long, looks forward to seeing her and they both get along well. They played in the sand box, colored, ate cupcakes and took a bath. Leila had so much fun having her little friend over for the night. We are so sad that Paisley and her family moved back to Oregon this past weekend. They have been such good friends to us and have helped us adjust to our new home her in Henderson. We are going to miss you guys so much! Thank you for being such good friends and being so welcoming, we wish we would have moved here sooner so we could have spent more time with you.

^playing at the sand and water table, it was a little chilly that night

and they were shivering but they did not want to go inside

^coloring and doing stickers

I think she smeared the frosting all over her face before even eating the cupcake

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions

So lately Leila has had a very difficult time making decisions. She has always been super independent and wanted to choose her own things but lately it has become ridiculous. Just picking out an outfit takes like an hour. I try just giving her two or three options but the problem is she knows there are more options then that and wants to see them all, she will pull out every shirt, pant, skirt and short. So it is not only time spent looking at every piece of clothing she has but then getting her to pick matching clothing. She has a hard time making decisions with clothing, books, songs, movies, cups, plates, bowls, cereal, pretty much anything that she knows she can make a decision about. My sister took some pictures of Leila trying to decide on cereal when we were staying at my parents house.

Nothing to exciting

Not much has been going on just life. I started babysitting my friends baby full time and I have been really surprised at how well Leila has done. She has been so good and very helpful. Leila and I made a quick trip to Utah a week or so ago. It was quite eventful, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law had their cute baby Mylee, it was fun to be able to see them and be in town when she was born. The other eventful thing was ending up in the emergency room with Leila on Friday night. She had a fever all day Thursday and Friday and since we were away from our doctor we had to go to the ER. Poor Leila, I think she was scarred for life and may have a fear of doctors and nurses for awhile. They took blood, put in an IV and didn't get it on the first try, poked her all over, did a strep test, tried putting in a catheter twice ( by the second time Leila was so upset she finally just peed on the nurses), and gave her a supository. And the result, nothing everything came back negative, the diagnosis: fever of unknown origin. The next day the fever was gone, she was still a little lathargic but pretty much back to normal. We still had a fun trip and can't wait to go back in April. Leila and her "pop"
