So last week Leila had been falling a lot, not just tripping over things but just tipping over or running into things. On Wednesday she fell off the couch and got a huge bruise across her cheek and on Tuesday she ran into the tv stand and scrapped her eye and got a black eye. I was thinking it is a good thing we don't have any doctor's appointments right now because they would think I have been beating my child. Well on Friday Leila was going up the stairs her foot slipped and she hit the banister and cut her forehead open.
The banister where she hit her forehead. Her head bled a ton and I was freaking out. I called Paul but he couldn't come home he told me to call Rachele to come over and help. So I packed Leila up and we headed for the ER.
On the drive to the hospital.
We were at the hospital for 4 1/2 hours. This is Leila right after they stitched her up (3 stitches). She freaked when they started to numb her cut, they had to wrap her up like a burrito so she wouldn't move. It was so sad. They also checked Leila's ears and guess what she had an ear infection, that explains all the falling. I felt bad that I didn't notice that she had an ear infection, but she did not have a fever and never once complained of her ears hurting.
Leila is back to normal, she tells everyone she has an ouchie and points to the cut!

Poor little girl got owned. You two are good parents. We miss you guys again!
I remember when Tanya fell and hit her head on Grandma and Grandpa Buchanan's stereo. (It was the big console stereo) We had to take her in to Dr. Richards' office and they put her on a papoose board so she wouldn't move cause she was screaming! This is just the first of many stitches depending on how many kids you have!!!! Hope she is feeling better.
Great job couz! I think I would have freaked out if I had been there-you are a great mom. Leila looks good as new :)
