Nana and Pop visit

My mom came and spent about a week and a half with us. It was so nice to have her here to help take care of Leila and keep her busy. I don't think we could have made it that week without her. Leila has really struggled since the baby was born, she has been very jealous. She loves Greydon and loves to take care of him but definitely doesn't want me taking care of him or holding him. Anytime I pick him up she immediately is climbing on my lap telling me to just hold her. If she knows it is close to the time I need to feed him she starts wanting to be held or becoming very needy. So it was really nice to have my mom here to hold her and keep her busy. Leila making bread with my mom (don't worry Rylee this is not the bread we brought over to your house)
Crashed out on the bean bag. Leila never does this, she has never just fallen asleep somewhere in the house, but she did it several times while my mom was here, I guess she just knows how to wear a little kid out.
Over the weekend my dad flew into town, they took Leila to Chuck E Cheese before they left. Leila had so much fun getting lots of attention, eating pizza and playing games.

She looks so little in the bean bag! I love that your mom wore her out!

That's so hard for little ones to get used to #2 baby. Mason was the same way. He loved looking at, watching and touching Maya.., but he wanted her to go back to the hospital and would freak out (completely) when i would hold her. I spent moonths with both of them on my lap at the same time! He finally got used to her. It takes time though and I think it's hard to keep your #1 baby feeling special through the change. That's great you have family to help out at times!
