Update

Wow it's been a while since I've blogged.  We haven't been up to much other then just life (going to dance, preschool, the park, cleaning the house and making dinner).
Leila has been busy with preschool, playing with friends, going to dance, playing at the park and trying to find something comfortable to wear.  She has been trying my patience with her clothing issues.  We spend several hours each week trying to find her something to wear.  She refuses to wear underwear but is ok with some of her tights.  She is also ok with this one pair of black pants.  So after trying on tons of outfits and underwear she usually ends up wearing  her black sweats or her purple tights.  I've learned to to be ok as long as she is dressed even if she doesn't match.  Hopefully she will grow out of this soon, because with the summer coming it's going to be way too hot for sweats or tights.  She is also learning to ride her bike without training wheels.  she likes to go out and practice but she is so nervous about me ltting go of her.  She can basically ride without me but stops the minute she realizes I'm not holding on still.  Some of the things Leila is really into right now are playing outside, playing games, reading books, watching Jake and the Neveralnd Pirates, watching Snow White, doing headstands (all the time), eating bagels and cream cheese, and playing with stuffed animals.
Greydon is beyond busy, I can't even keep up with him.  Everytime I turn around he has created another mess.  He loves, loves, loves to play outside, and makes a bee-line straight for the door whenever it opens.  He has started to make a squaking noise when he wants something, it is about to drive me mad.  We are trying to teach him to say please or point to what he wants.  This is such a hard stage right now because he wants certain things but has a hard time communicating what he wants.  He is learning new words daily and loves to mimick us but hates to perform his new tricks when we try to show daddy or other people.  He loves to play with Leila and follows her wherever she goes, he gets quite upset when we drop her off at school or at a friends house.  He is just so sad that she leaves him. Somethings Greydon is into are stuffed animals that make noises, bread (but not sandwhiches), graham crackers, computers, cars, emptying the pantry, drinking out of straws or cups with no lids, his binky, reading bed time stories with Leila, climbing anything, taking off his pants and diaper and playing in the water.

Paul has been busy with his Urology rotation.  It has gotten better then when he first started but it still was not the best rotation.  He has also been busy studying for his surgery test and boards.  He took Leila to see the movie "Rango" earlier in the month and she had a blast.  He is now getting ready to go to Columbus Ohio to do a surgery rotation at Doctors Hospital.  He is going to be gone the entire month of April.  He is super excited for this surgery rotation it just is going to be hard having him gone the entire month.

I've been busy trying to keep up with life and feeling like I'm failing misearably.  My house is a constant disaster, dinners haven't been that great, and my kids cloths don't ever seem to match (besides picking her own clothes Leila insists on picking Grey's too).  My kids have become "those kids" the kinds I swore I would never have.  The ones with mismatched clothes, dirty mouths and scraggley hair.  Oh and if you stop by our house there's about a 100% chance they will be running around naked.  Oh well, at least they are happy!

At the beginning of March we took Leila out on a date with us.  We went to the Original Pancake house for breakfast.  Leila thought it was the greatest to be on a date with just mom and dad and she especially loved her giant plate of chocolate chip pancakes.

And you may feel like you have 'those kids' but I'm tellin' ya they are super adorable! We're gonna miss you guys! Show Greydon my picture while I'm gone so I don't lose any ground with him. Hahaha.

If only they could have given the med. wives a handbook as of what to expect before the storm hits...I here ya it is easy to become a recluse some days due to the fact that there is just too much going on...I think I have basically felt the same way you do lately and well all I can say is keep on reading your scriptures and praying cause I think i keep waiting for the moment to catchup and well that is when I get behind the most...so you are not alone it is a good thing that our kids can make us laugh when we are seconds from crying cause some days can be just plain rough! I sure do miss our park dates and actual park bathrooms! we have a porta john at the main big park and the kids just LoVe going in there for some sick reason to play...Hang in there I always have those "quotes" pop in my mind when I am ready to scream "he never said it would be easy he only said it would be worth it" and "This too shall pass" You always were so sweet to Addy and I and it is challenging for me too just remember tomorrow is a new and possibly better day and to smile, cause laughter is always a blessing! miss ya!

I miss you guys. You should just take a little vaca to Utah and visit us. Logan would love seeing his cousins. I'm sure between the three they could cause some major damage to a house! Logan loves making messes. Isn't it crazy that little boys are such tornadoes. Love and miss you guys.

My kids are "those" kids too. It's perfectly normal (from my point of view).
