stuff lately

1. I have a bunch of blog posts to catch up on but I feel like I'm not recording what is going on right now. So this post is pretty much the stuff that is going on right now and then I will catch up on all the stuff we did during the month of March.

2.  Greydon is officially potty trained.  We started at the beginning of March and he did really well!  There were a couple of frustrating days at first and I about gave up but then it seemed like it just clicked one day.  He did recieve some encouragement from gummy worms and watching shows on the tablet.  He is now potty trained for naps and at bed time.  He refuses to wear diapers any more and so far has not wet the bed, I really hope he keeps it up.  I'm just happy the potty training is done and now that it is over with, it was a lot easier then I expected, thank goodness.

3.  Leila has been pretty anxious about our move to Iowa and has started back up with her clothing issues but it hasn't completely taken over her life.  She can still get dressed pretty quickly most days of the week, it's usually on dance class day or Sunday that she has the hardest time because those are days there is something specific she has to wear.  We did find her a cute Easter dress that she loves wearing so hopefully this can help with getting dressed on Sundays.  Mostly I just try to ignore the clothing stuff and I pretty much just let her wear whatever she likes, I'm just happy when she is dressed.  So if you see Leila and her clothes don't match just know it's all her.

4.  Paul and I are training for a half marathon, it's in June and we are hoping we can make it work with our moving plans.

5. Speaking of moving plans, all I can say is it is really stressful for me.  I hate the thought of moving so I just try not to think about it which means I hate trying to deal with all the details of the move.  But not dealing with it just stresses me out more, it's such an awful cycle.  I have gathered some moving boxes and started to pack a few things and I have gone through a bunch of our stuff and either thrown it out or have set it aside for a garage sale.

6.  Greydon has been pretty funny lately.  He knows we are moving to Iowa but he insists on saying we are moving to Ila's or sometimes he says we are moving to Ila's house.  He's also proving to be quite the tease, he knows just how to push Leila's buttons but acts like he is being so inocent or that he has no idea that the stuff he is doing will make her so upset.

7.  Leila spends so much of her time doing handstands.  Whether she's watching tv, playing with friends, having a tantrum or just playing around the house she will most likely be on her head.
8.  Paul finally finished his ICU rotation! Two months of ICU in a row is no fun, he had to go in really early in the morning, worked late a lot of days and worked a lot of weekends.  April is OB/GYN so I'm sure he will still be working lots but the mornings won't be as early.

9. As I mentioned earlier Paul worked a lot of weekends which meant I went to church without him a lot of Sundays.  Thank goodness I have the best ward that always seems to know my needs.  The last two sundays I didn't even have Asher at all durning Sacrament meeting.  He was held, played with, and rocked to sleep by other members.  And luckily Greydon sleeps during Sacrament meeting and Leila is great when she has no brothers to bug her. It was actually my two most relaxing Sundays in a long time.

10.  I went and saw the midnight release of the Hunger Games.  It was lots of fun but I am way too old for that kind of stuff anymore.  The theater was full of teenagers plus I was so tired, it made me feel like such and old fart.  Now I just need to go see it again with Paul

11. And finally just some recent pictures
