The City of Ankeny and Special Olympics put together a Play Day for all the preschool children. They were divided up into teams and then high school students and their preschool teachers helped them with all the different activities. They got to do the long jump, basketball, soccer, baseball, 20 yard dash, dancing, darts, bowling, gymnastics, and tennis ball throw. Greydon was super timid at first and kept his hands in his pockets whenever possible but then he warmed up and had lots of fun. His favorite activity was bowling and basketball.
When they first arrived they met together with their preschool class. Greydon's teacher had lots of games and songs to keep them entertained while we waited to get started.
It was a fun morning and the best part was a giant award ribbon at the end!
