Christmas Eve

Leila opening her Christmas pajamas from Grandma. I know not very Christmas-y but Dora and nightgowns are what she loves The guys who participated in the Nog-stache. Paul won for most ridiculous mustache (in other words he won for growing the most non-manly mustache, which is sad because he had been growing his longer than anyone else) Leila playing the candy bar game with the other kids, she got her favorite, KitKat and chocolate kisses Jon won for best ugly sweater, the gold chain and bare chest complete the outfit

Dusty and Mary brought a giant rabbit for their white elephant. Luckily Kaylee totally loved the bunny and took it home

Paul's awesome outfit, I was so glad that the mustache contest was over so that the mustache would be gone and it was that night!

Sean picked the awesome kitty sand are as his white elephant Madsen cousins

We spend every Christmas eve with Paul's family. We get together and enjoy soups and lots of other delicious food. We exchange white elephant gifts, sing songs, kids get pajamas and adults get a box of homemade chocolates from Paul's mom. Paul's mom spends several months making cherry chocolates, raspberry truffles, orange truffles, mint truffles, turtles and toffee. These chocolates are amazing better than any chocolate you could buy. Everyone looks forward to their box all year and nobody will share with their kids, some won't even share with their spouse. This year they decided to have an ugly sweater contest and the guys decided to have a nogstache contest (they grow a mustache and then drink egg nog and see whose mustache was coated the best with egg nog, I know super gross). We did a lot of laughing and just enjoyed spending time with family.

This explains your husband's mustache. I have been kinda curious about that. :)

Sounds like a super fun party. Hope you had happy holidays.

Wow! Paul looks like a character out of a movie. He played the part well.

Looks like you have lots of fun traditions. Glad you enjoyed the holidays!
