On Saturday the kids and I painted their little pumpkins, Leila loved it and Greydon mostly wanted to paint the newspaper and was done after about 3 minutes.
On Halloween we carved pumpkins (and when I say we I pretty much mean Paul carved them). The kids were so excited to carve them and they helped clean them out but when it came down to carving them they kind of lost interest and Paul ended up doing it.
This was right before we headed out trick or treating around our neighborhood. I was so surprised by Leila she wasn't shy at all this year and was thanking everyone and being very polite. She was quite concerned with getting home to hand out candy. She kept saying "ok I'm done I've get plenty of candy lets go home" but then we would pass a house with their lights on and she would say, "they have their lights on so we might as well stop there and just get a little bit more candy". This conversation happened about 10 times, she just couldn't pass up the free candy!

Love the story about Leila. I can hear her saying that to you. :) Super cute costumes too!
