Some things that have been going on lately
1. Paul finished up all of his interviews, yay! No more traveling! Unless he goes back to visit some of the programs, a couple of them really want him to come back and rotate even if its only for a couple of days. Although I don't think it will be possible with his school and other rotations he has to do. He has recieved some great feedback and now we have a lot of information to sort through and decisions to make. I just wish we knew where we were going!
2. Having three kids is crazy! Someone always needs something. Leila has been pretty good and has been a really good helper. Greydon has definitely had a difficult time, for the most part he is good but he likes to bug Asher, he wants to be super independent and falls apart very quickly if things don't go his way. And I'm definitely not getting enough sleep, if i'm not up with Asher I'm up with Leila or Greydon and naps for me are nonexistent.
3. Greydon has shown lots of signs of being ready to potty train. He tells me when he needs to go poop and has gone in the potty several times, he wants to be changed immediately after going, he asks to wear underwear and talks about going in the potty. I'm not sure I'm ready to potty train. I would love to not have two kids in diapers and would love to not change Grey's nasty diapers just not sure I have the energy to do the potty training.
4. We got a Christmas tree! We were just going to get a real tree but that is pretty expensive so Paul went and checked at Goodwill. They had a brand new Martha Stewart Christmas tree and Paul was able to get it for $37. I love it! I'm so excited to have a tree in my home and the kids loved decorating it and pointing out ther ornaments.
5. We have tried to do some Christmas activities the last couple of days. We watched Elf as a family the other night, we went to the Ethel M chocolate factory and the Christmas lights at the cactus gardens, we've made lots of hot chocolate, bought a new Christmas movie, made Christmas cookies, and we went out for peppermint milkshakes the other night. My kids are so excited for Christmas and love anything that has to do with Christmas. They love looking at toy ads and telling me all the things they want, which is pretty much everything!
6. Paul went back to work on Monday. It was so nice to have him home and he did so much. He is doing ER at the Boulder City hospital He says its pretty slow there and luckily only has to do 15 shifts.
7. I'm getting close to being done with my Christmas shopping, just a few more people to buy for, the only problem is I don't know what to get them. The kids are pretty much done and I'm really excited for Christmas morning with them.
