5 months old

My baby is 5 months old and I can barely believe it.  We love him to pieces even though he doesn't sleep, wants to be held ALL the time and demands attention 24/7. 

At five months old Asher is:
-Sitting up, he still tips over sometimes but he can sit on his own for quite awhile
-Is still not sleeping through the night.  Some nights he does really well but most nights he is up every couple of hours and he is usually awake between 1 and 2 just fussing.  He likes sleeping on his stomach and will usually sleep longer if he is on his stomach but he has figured out that he can roll and now flips onto his back and that usually wakes him up.  He also still likes to be swaddled and loves his binky.
-He is super smiley and very social.  He loves when other people talk to him and always gives them a big smile in return.
-He loves to grab at toys and loves playing in his exersaucer and laying on the playmat
-He likes baths a lot but is also happy taking showers
-He found his feet and loves to play with them
-Asher finally figured out the bottle so now it makes it much easier to leave him with a babysitter
-He's still not very fond of baby food.  So far he has tried oatmeal, carrots, sweet potatoes and broccoli.  I've made all of his baby food and so far I think he like carrots the most.  Part of the problem is he is still trying to figure out how to eat baby food and what to do with his tongue. 
-Has a really hard time settling down for a nap.  He wants to be rocked to sleep, sometimes I lay him down and he cries for a few minutes but sometimes I cave and rock him.  I know bad parenting but it's so nice to sit in a quiet, dark room and just get to snuggle him for a few minutes.
-Is still wearing 3-6 month size clothes and size 2 diapers.
-He is super drooly almost like he is teething but he's not overly fussy so not sure if he is getting teeth or not. 
-Went on his first vacation and airplane ride to Des Moines, Iowa.  He did really well (I think because he and mom and dad's undivided attention).

This is his first time having baby food.  He was not a fan.

 He learned quickly to use his hand to block the spoon.

And then he started blowing raspberries to get the food out of his mouth and to vocally tell us how bad he hated the food.

Now he is happy because we were done trying to feed him
