4th of July

Greydon was feeling a little left out since he didn't get to have a sleep over so Connie planned some fun things for Grey and Asher to do.   We spent the morning at Classic skating playing on the bounce houses and jungle gym.  Then we went out for lunch at the Pie and got some Rita's Italian Ice.  Last year Sean, Heather and Connie were within the first 50 customers at Rita's grand opening so they got free Rita's for a year.  It sure was yummy!  After that we went to White Towers to swim.  I was already exhausted and it was barely 3 o'clock, we had a busy but fun day.  Leila got to play all morning with her cousins.

After the pool we headed to the Sandy parade with Connie, Sean and Heather, we got our spot and then walked to Chick fil A for our dinner.  The parade was fun but hot. I felt so bad because we had tentative plans with my parents to meet us at the parade too but then my phone died.  My parents spent most of the parade looking for us but didn't find us and by the time i got a hold of them they were leaving to go get dinner.  Luckily they came back for the carnival and fireworks.  The kids had lots of fun playing on the bounce houses and climbing wall at the carnival.  And the fireworks were spectacular, Sandy City always does an amazing job!
