Weekend

This weekend was pretty crazy and I don't think I took a single picture but I wanted to write down some of the stuff that we did.  Friday was pretty busy I had to run a bunch of errands to get ready for our ward party but we still found time to squeeze in a trip to the park, Greydon loved the park but Leila was pretty freaked out of the wind.  On Wednesday we had gone outside and there were 60 mph gusts and she about blew away and since then she has been so scared of the wind even if it is just a little breeze.  Paul went golfing and later that night his aunt and cousins stayed at our house on their way back home from Disneyland, so we ended up staying up late hanging out with them.  Saturday morning we got up early and went to Boulder City to have breakfast at the Coffee Cup with Paul's family.  The food was so good, I especially love their french toast, but it was fun going with so many people and being able to taste some of their meals.  We then raced home and Paul took Leila to dance class and I headed to the park for our friend Beckham's birthday party.  Leila and Paul met us at the park after the class.  I actually have some pictures of the party only because Rachele emailed them to me.
They tried getting a picture of all the kids at the party and this is the first and best one that was taken, it's pretty difficult to get a picture of that many kids as she can see in the pictures below.  I love how crazy it got, kids were wandering, not looking at the camera and crying.

Then a couple of pictures of the girls

After the party I began getting ready for our ward party.  I had to make yummy bars, run to Costco, then come home and cook 14 lbs of meat and then pack up everything and head to the church to get set up.  When we got to the church Greydon was being really fussy and Leila was whining about not feeling good.  It was getting close to party time and we still had so much to do when Leila started throwing up, I panicked and had no idea what to do.  Luckily we have some really good friends, Paul called Sharla who canceled her dinner plans and came and sat with Leila at our house and she cleaned a bunch of our pots and  pans, we are lucky to have such good friends.   We also have a great ward, our Young Women's president and her counselor showed up with their kids and quickly helped get everything else set up and then our friends the Corvino's helped take care of Greydon most of the night and then Rylee went and sat at our house with Leila so we could finish cleaning up and so Sharla could get on with her plans for the night.  Seriously we are so blessed to have such good friends and such a good ward that will help us with anything and takes such good care of us.  In the end the party went great and I am just glad it is over and we don't have to worry about another one until September.  Paul and I were both exhausted and went to bed early Saturday night!
