Some of July

We've tried to keep busy while were here in Utah.  My kids seem to do better when we have some kind of activity planned for the day.  We've definitely enjoyed the cooler weather here and being able to play outside.  It's so nice to be able to open the back door and let the kids just play.

We went to the aquarium and the kids loved the fish and penguins.

The kids love riding bikes and Greydon was super excited to ride NeNe's bike because he could actually reach the pedals and figured out how to make it go.

Paul's mom has a Vitamix so when we go to her house we always enjoy lots of smoothies and shakes.  Greydon is a huge fan of smoothies and its about the only way I can get him to eat vegetables.  He even loves the green smoothies full of spinach and broccoli.

We went swimming at White Towers with Heather, Tamari, Mylee and Connie.  I finally convinced Leila that laying on the hot cement was the best way to warm up.

After swimming for awhile I needed to get Greydon home for a nap but Leila was not ready to go.  Connie said she would stay and watch her.  I came back two hours later and Leila was still swimming, I couldn't believe Connie stayed that long with her, she is much nicer than I am.

We've done lots of baking and the kids are great helpers when it comes to licking the bowl.

Greydon is really loving his blankets lately and always wants me to wrap him up in them and of course Leila can't be left out.

I caught Leila one day "reading" the newspaper.  She was sitting in the chair and just talking about all the pictures that were printed.

My parents are re-doing their front yard right now so all the grass is torn out, which means lots and lots of dirt.  The kids have played everyday in the dirt and Greydon is just in heaven getting all dirty.

We've also hit up the mall a couple times to ride the carousel.  Grey may not look like he's enjoying the ride but really he was loving it.

I love Greydon playing in the dirt wearing his socks. Haha! We miss you guys! But man, I miss a Utah backyard too, so I get your being there. :)
