On June 18th Paul had the day off so we decided to hit up Adventureland. Greydon had been asking to go forever, he would see commercials and just beg to go. Paul's work was selling discount tickets so we were able to get in for half price. This park was extremely ghetto but we still had lots of fun. It wasn't crowded at all so we could pretty much ride whatever ride we wanted with out waiting in lines.
Leila was pretty upset that she was a 1/4 of an inch too short to ride some of the big rides. But we did find some fun rides that we could take her on. She loved tilt-a-whirl and a river tube ride.
Greydon isn't much for spinning and crazy rides, he tends to get some motion sickness.
Asher was able to get a good nap in the stroller and then enjoy some fun little kid rides.
In the afternoon we went to Adventure Bay water park. The kids had a blast there. They had a zero entry pool for the little kids with slides that Greydon and Asher loved. Leila liked playing in the wave pool and going on some of the bigger water slides, luckily they were not being as strict with the height requirement on the water slides.
This picture is of Greydon right after he got lost. I had taken Leila on the water slides and Paul was with the boys on the little slides. Asher had walked around the side of the slide and Paul went to get him and during that time (less then 20 seconds) Greydon took off. Greydon tends to panic if he can't see me or Paul and when he does he takes off running instead of standing still and yelling for us. Some lady grabbed him and took him to the lifeguards and then the lady found Paul and told him where Greydon was.
After the water park we rode a bunch more rides. I was surprised we lasted until the park closed. I thought for sure we would have melt downs over the heat or being hungry or tired but all three kids were really good and we had a really fun time.
