Visit with med school friends

My friend Paige from med school who is living in Kansas City was planning a visit when Robyn, also a friend from med school invited us to Claira's baby blessing in Iowa City.  Paige decided to drive up on Saturday, stay the night at my house and then Sunday morning we would get up and drive to Iowa city.  Paige and her kids Reagan and Max arrived just after lunch and we just let the kids play while Paige and I just relaxed and talked.  In the evening we let the kids color on rocks and run through the sprinklers.  Paige and I stayed up way too late that night talking but it was so fun to catch up with a friend and talk about residency with someone who understands.  

The drive to Iowa City ended up being faster than I expected so we got to church a little early.  After church we headed over to Robyn's house for some lunch with her family and friends.  They had a chocolate fountain that did not disappoint.  At one point I found Asher outside covered in chocolate, he had found someone else's plate of chocolate and treats.  I headed back home later that afternoon since it was Father's Day and Paul would be getting home from work that evening.  Paige stayed the night at Robyn's house and then stopped by my house for lunch on Monday on her way back to Kansas City.  We had a really fun weekend and I love getting to see my med school friends.
