Disneyland Day 3

On Thursday morning both Paul and I woke up with a stomach bug and were not feeling great so we kind of got a late start.  We headed to California Adentures and met Pluto and rode a bunch of rides that we either wanted to ride again or didn't get a chance to the day before.

Riding Dumbo again for the like 100th time, but it sure made her happy!

If you look really close her face is smushed up against the plastic, it made us laugh because she did it all on her own

 And again riding Dumbo!
And again meeting Jasmine and Aurora, she met each princess like 3 or 4 times, but again it made her happy, so how could we say no.  She was a little disappointed that she was never able to meet Tiana from the Princess and the Frog.  Paul had actually ran back to the castle to see if she was there and called and told us that she was but by the time we made it there she had switched places with another princess, so we literally missed her by only a few minutes.

She had so much anxiety about riding Toy Story partly because she is afraid of Buzz Lightyear (she doesn't like Zurg) so she was thinking it was going to be the same.  Even though we told her it was different and not scary.  This ride was the longest wait we had all three days so by the time we got to the front she was pretty stressed out (45 minutes or worrying will do that to ya).  But once it started she loved it, and I'm pretty sure it is one of my favorite rides now too!
We finished the night and trip by watching the fireworks and lighting of the castle.  It is so beautiful and especially wonderful with the Christmas music and Christmas lights!

And the snow at the end made it about perfect!
Leila covering her ears because the fireworks are too loud for her liking, plus she was tired and just ready to go to bed.

The trip was perfect, we were able to do and see everything we wanted, we didn't spend too much money and we had so so so much fun!

Leila did get a second wind when we got back to the hotel and begged me to take her swimming and in the hot tub.  So Leila and I ended the night relaxing our tired and sore bodies in the spa.  The only thing not perfect about the trip was accidently leaving Paul's computer in the hotel room.  But thank goodness for honest people we were able to get it shipped back to us.
