Disneyland

We also went ot Disneyland durning spring break and had a blast.  Back in February Paul and I signed up for the give a day, get a day disney program.  Paul helped with bone marrow registry program and I made three no-sew fleece blankets and then we got our free tickets.  Too bad the day we decided to go was super crowded but we still had fun.  When we first got there we ran into Mickey and his band performing, Leila freaked out and got really nervous around him but Mickey came up and was grabbing  Greydon's hand and paying a lot of attention to him the unfortunate part was because Leila was so nervous I was holding her and couldn't get picture of Mickey and Greydon.  We then went and rode the rides and waited in a lot of lines.  Leila like any ride that she could see like Dumbo and the Tea Cups.  She freaked during  Pirates of the Carribean and Buzz Light Year.  Greydon was really good the whole time and hung out in his stroller or in my front pack.

I love that even though the blanket it covering his mouth you can tell he is smiling.  Greydon is such an easy baby to take along, he will take naps wherever and is just happy to hang out!

Leila said her favorite ride was the Tea Cups!

This is where we ran into Mickey and his band, we were right in the front so we could easily see them perform

Picture of us in front of the castle, can you tell how crowded it was that day? People every where it was hard to move around

We waited 1 hour to ride Dumbo, crazy that a little kid ride had such a long wait.  Leila did pretty good while we waited in line for rides, one lady gave us a ring pop and she loved it!

Leila loved watching the  parade and dancing to the music!

Leila was really nervous around all the characters so we weren't sure we wanted to wait in line to see the princesses just to have her freak out, but she kept telling us she wanted to meet them so we waited about 45 minutes and right before we saw them she did begin to get nervous but just said she wanted me to hold her when we met them, so while meeting Jasmine and Cinderella I was holding her.

But by the time we got to Sleeping Beauty I was holding Greydon so I held her hand and walked her to Sleeping Beauty.  And then I slowly stepped back while Leila talked to her and took pictures with her.  She had this nervous little smile on the whole time but as soon as we walked away she said, "I did it, I did it all by myself".  She was so proud of herself for taking pictures all by herself without me holding her.

Exploring Goofy's house!

Waiting in line to meet Mickey

Finally meeting Mickey, Leila was so freaked out so I was holding both her and Greydon.  By the end of the day my arms were so sore from holding one or both of the kids.  Around 6 pm Leila started getting really tired and just wanted to lay in the stroller, so this is when Paul and I got to ride a bunch of the adult rides, one of us would wait in the line and get a rider exchange pass and ride the ride while the other person was with the kids then the other person would take the rider exchange pass and go right to the front of the line and get to go on the ride.  I wish Paul and I could have gone on some of the rides together but at least we were able to some of the adult rides.  We stayed for the fireworks, Leila and Greydon had both fallen asleep but we woke Leila up for the fireworks and to see tinkerbell.  We then headed home, we didn't get home until after 3 am.  Paul was awesome and drove the whole way.  I tried so hard to stay awake but just couldn't keep my eyes open.  We had such a fun trip and can't wait to go back and spend several days there.

How fun! I'm a bit jealous that Greydon is so good just hanging out and being chill. Maybe my next baby will be like that, ha. I'm glad you guys had a good time in Disneyland!
