Utah vacation

During our trip to Utah Leila and I were able to get our hair cut by my sister.  I love how Leila's turned out and it is so much easier to do and looks sooo much better.  We went to the children's museum with Paul's mom, our sister-in-law Heather and her two little girls Mari and Mylee.  Leila had so much fun playing in the grocery store.  She shopped, bought all of her food and then decided she needed to transport all of her groceries to the house and put them away in the fridge.  This caused a little bit of a tantrum with Leila because each time she came back from the house to get the rest of her groceries other kids were playing with her food,  she just couldn't understand that the food was for everyone.  She eventually found a car and was able to load up a ton of food in the back of the car and drive all the food over to the house.

This is the car she found and used to transport her food

Leila playing with the costumes on the stage.  She would hid behind the curtains and them bust out of them yelling that she was opeing the show.  Poor Mylee got hurt about everytime she did this, Leila would come flying out from behind the curtains and almost ran into Mylee each time.
She was pretending to be a bunny and hopping around on the ground

Our happy Greydon just hanging out in his stoller while we were at the museum

I also had to do my running while I was in Utah.  It was not very much fun running by myself since I am use to training with people.  On Friday I woke up to do my long 10 mile run and it was snowing so I was going to go to the gym and run on their track and treadmill but when I went to leave the snow had stopped and the sun was peeking through so I decided to run outside.  Pretty soon into my run it started snowing again and then it turned into rain and hail.  It got really bad when the hail started pelting me in the face but then it turned back into snow.  I was so happy to finish that run but was exhausted the rest of the day.  When I came home from my run my little brother had been watching Geydon and this is how I found them on the couch

Paul's mom did an Easter egg hunt for the girls since we wouldn't be there for Easter.  And since it was wet and snowy outside she did dthe Easter egg hunt in her basement

Finding eggs, I think this egg had new panties in them for Leila, she loved searching the house for eggs and then opening them to see what was inside.

Showing me her loot!

We also went to Paul's cousins little boys baptism  Saturday morning.  It was so good for Leila see Jonah get baptized because afterwards she was asking me all about it and it is so much easier to teach her things when she has seen them done.  After the baptism we went over to their house for a party.  Leila loved playing with all the kids and Greydon loved getting passed around.  We also put Greydon in the baby swing out on the swing set and he loved it he especially liked it when one of the kids was swinging him, he stayed in the swing for a good half hour.
We left Saturday night to fly home, on our way to the airport I got a call that our flight had been delayed 30 minutes.  We got to the airport and it didn't seem crowded at all until we walked into the Southwest check-in.  I got there earlier then the last time since I didn't want to experience the stress of possibly missing a flight.  Well as soon as we walked in all we saw was a sea of purple.  Some of the NCAA Basketball playoff games were being played in Utah and Butler and Kansas State had just played earlier that day.  Well the entire Kansas state team, coaches, band, cheerleaders, and fans were standing in line to check in at Southwest and they were all wearing purple.  The line was so long and moving so slow, I learned that Kansas State had chartered a flight and their bus had just dropped them all off at the same time.  I was getting really nervous I was going to miss my flight again even with getting there in plenty of time and with my flight being delayed.  I finally decided to try checking in at skycap, they were so quick and got us on our way.  We made our way to our gate and pretty soon found ourselves in a sea of purple again and black.  Our gate was right next to the Kansas State team's departure gate and the Butler team's departure gate.   It was crazy being in this small area with all the basketball players and fans.  I was a little worried there would be some fights since Kansas State and Butler had just played each other but luckily they were very pleasant to each other.  Our flight was pretty uneventful, both kids were good, Leila was a little more whinny but still good.  We were glad to be home and see Paul, I think the trip exhausted Leila because this is how I found her after church even after she slept in Sunday morning and fell asleep in nursery.
