Leila feeding the ducks at Sunset park with Luke, Jacob, Ryder and Kate. This park is so gross and I hate going to it but the kids love feeding the ducks.
Playing at the park with friends. We love this park and go there several times a week and sometimes everyday. We had Paul meet us there one day after he finished studying, we had to show him all the cool things this park has and why we love it so much.
The kids love this merry-go-round, but one day one of the kids is going to get seriously hurt on it, I was a little surprised the park had put one in
We pulled out the exer-saucer for Greydon to play in and he loves it!
Just some quick things about Greydon:
He now weighs over 18 lbs, yes he is quite the chunk
He loves any solids that we feed him and so far has had rice, oatmeal, squash, sweet potatoes, carrots and peas, his favorite is the plain old rice.
He can sit up on his own and has been doing that for a while now but for the last week and a half he has gotten so much stronger that I can now leave him sitting on the ground by himself.
He turns from his back to his stomach but won't go back the other way.
He can turn himself around in circles when he is on his stomach and can scoot himself around when he is on his back
He love his binky but his little hands are so busy he can't seem to leave it in his mouth unless he is swaddled very tightly
He is on a great schedule during the day but still struggles to be a good sleeper at night.
He has recently found his voice and loves to talk and yell
I love seeing his chunky legs!
Oh and when Leila was this age, we had to stack two big books under her feet so she could stand on something when she was in the exer-saucer, Greydon has no problem reaching the ground.
Man, this boy looks just like his daddy!
This past week Leila also started her tumbling class and her dance class. Tumbling went great, she went right in, told the teacher her name and followed all the instructions, she had a smile on her face the whole time. Dance didn't go quite so well, I think she got a little overwhelmed because there are a lot of kids in the class and all the parents are all sitting around watching. The teacher was handing out little boas for the girls to dance with and next thing I know Leila was running over to me in tears. The only way I could get her to go back out and dance was to dance with her so I spent the first part of the class dancing with Leila. Eventually she got comfortable enough that I was able to go sit down. Her teacher is so cute and has tons of fun props to help teach the kids coordination and movement. Hopefully the next week goes better! We ended are spring break by taking a trip to California and going to Disneyland but I will have to save that post for another time, but I will say we had sooo much fun!
