Beach day

On the Monday after Easter we got up and packed up and headed for California, our plan was to go to the beach Monday afternoon and then to Disneyland on Tuesday.  Paul and I had both done service to get our free Disneyland tickets through the Disneyland give a day get a day program.  I made three no-sew fleece blankets and Paul signed people up for the bone marrow registry.  The drive wasn't too bad, the kids were really good but it was so windy, big semi's were swerving all over the road so it was a little scary. 

Leila was so excited to get to the beach and play in the dirt.  The weather wasn't great, really windy and cool but it was still fun.

Leila loved the beach and Greydon loved just hanging out in the front pack.  When we were leaving we were trying to clean all the sand off of our feet and get our shoes back on.  They had a little shower that you could rinse your feet off in so we got Leila all cleaned off and shoes on and set her off to the side and told her to stay put.  Well not more then 5 seconds later a turn around and her shoes are off and she is in the sand again so we had to go through the whole process again.
