Milestones:
-He can roll tummy to back and back to tummy
-He can sit up like a champ
-He sucks his toes
-He laughs all the time
-He can scoot around on his back and tummy
-Asher finally decided that taking a bottle isn't so bad and actually gets really excited when he see's one
-Asher loves to play in his exersaucer or sitting on the ground with a pile of toys. He loves when I give him a bucket of toys and he slowly pulls one toy out at a time.
-Thanks to my mom and MIL he is now eating baby food. They both spent a bunch of time feeding him food while I was in Hawaii. He loves sweet potatoes, white sweet potatoes, carrots and pears. His not a huge fan of cereal or peas. He definitely likes the homemade stuff better then the store bought.
-He still likes to nurse about every three hours. And is starting to become easily distracted while I'm nursing him. If there are other kids in the room he is trying to see whats going on instead of eating.
-He's a major drooler, I keep thinking he's getting teeth but he's not super fussy and I can't feel anything pushing through.
-He's wearing 6 month size clothing and a bunch of Greydon's old summer clothes are much too big for him. I wouldn't say Asher is small but he's definitely not rollie pollie like Grey.
-Sleeping is ok. He usually does a long stretch but it's from like 6-12, so it doesn't give me much sleep. I usually have to get up and feed him around 12 or 1 and then again around 5:30. Not great sleep habbits but not the worst either.
-Paul discovered that Asher hates being swaddled and it totally fixed his refusing to take naps issue. Once we stopped swaddling him he goes down for naps great.
(He loves sucking his bottom lip)
-He babbles a lot but when he's upset he yells da da da da in a high pitched voice
-He is not a huge fan of his sister and brother when they are close, but he loves watching them from a distance. They make him super nervous when they get to close. He does not love all their smothering hugs, kisses and cuddles.
-His hair is out of control, he really needs a hair cut. It's long on top, short on the side except for random long pieces and then he's got a nice bald spot on the back of his head from rubbing his head back and forth. I just have a really hard time cutting my kids baby hair.
