We were going to hike Waimea valley but when we got there they were charging $15 per person and that was not in the budget so instead we had a nice picnic lunch outside the gates.
This peacock joined us for our lunch and was quite aggressive, he really wanted our food.
After lunch we went across the street to Waimea Bay. I thought this beach was beautiful! The sand was soft and the water was turquoise blue. Rachele and Jordan told us that during the winter they get 40 foot waves there, hard to imagine since it was nice and calm. The boys jumped of Jump Rock but I had no interest in that, not even to take a picture of Paul. I just wanted to take a nap.
We spent all afternoon at the beach and then went home and got ready to go to dinner at Haleiwa Thai. It is hands down the best Thai restaurant I have ever been too. The yellow curry and coconut rice was to die for, I'm seriously salivating right now just thinking about it.
Oh I forgot before we went home to get ready for dinner we stopped at Shark's cove to do some snorkeling. There was much more to see and I could actually breath without having a panic attack.
